NOTES TO PODCAST

Turn your notes into a podcast.

A second way to spend time with the things you wrote down.

SimpleListen turns written notes into AI-narrated episodes in an unlisted podcast feed. Paste your text, choose a voice, and listen later in a podcast app that accepts RSS feeds.

How it works

  1. 1

Choose the notes you want to hear

Copy your meeting notes, study notes, a draft or a research brief. Paste the text into a new episode and give it a title you will recognize in your podcast app.

  2. 2

Choose how the notes should sound

Select a feed and voice. SimpleListen detects the language, with a manual language setting when needed. Cleaned narration preserves your content; your connected agent can optionally prepare a more natural listening script.

  3. 3

Add the feed once, then keep listening

Subscribe to your feed in Apple Podcasts, Overcast or another player that supports adding an RSS URL. New published episodes appear in the same feed when your player refreshes it.

Keep the detail you will want later

The default is full-content narration. SimpleListen does not automatically replace your notes with a summary or invent a conversation between hosts. If you want a shorter briefing, ask your agent to prepare one before submitting the script.

Rough bullet points can sound abrupt when read aloud. Ask your agent to expand abbreviations, make headings audible and connect fragments while preserving names, dates and decisions. Review the script when accuracy matters.

Make separate feeds for separate parts of life

Use one feed for study notes and another for work or long-form reading. Each feed can have its own voice, language preference, cover initials and color. Your episode history and web player remain available in SimpleListen.

An unlisted feed is a secret link, not a signed-in listening session. Anyone who has the feed or media URL can access it, and a podcast player may cache downloads. Avoid highly sensitive notes.

What you can submit today

Paste text or Markdown, or send a finished script through a connected agent, the API or CLI. The current prototype supports up to 60,000 characters per episode and applies generation limits. PDFs, scans and file-based document imports are not supported; copy the relevant text instead.

AI narration can mispronounce names, formulas or unfamiliar terms. Use the voice preview before generating a longer episode, and spell out anything that needs a particular pronunciation.

Questions about notes to podcast

Can I turn study notes into a podcast?

Yes. Paste the notes as text, select a feed and create an episode. For equations, tables or shorthand, prepare a readable script first so the spoken version makes sense.

Does SimpleListen summarize my notes?

Full-content narration is the default. Summarization or rewriting happens only when you request it from your agent. An episode sent for agent preparation waits until the agent returns or you cancel it.

Can I upload a PDF of my notes?

PDFs are not supported in this prototype. Copy the text into SimpleListen, or have your agent extract and prepare the text before submitting it.

Make room for a good listen.
