Turn a useful ChatGPT answer into your next listen.
Keep the answer. Take the listening with you.
To turn a ChatGPT answer into a podcast, ask your agent to prepare a script for listening, then send that text to SimpleListen. It narrates the script and publishes an episode in your own unlisted RSS feed.
Create your listening feed ↗How it works
- 1
Ask your agent for the content
Use your agent for the research or answer you need. Ask it to preserve the details, explain references aloud and write in the original language. SimpleListen supplies narration, not an independent research engine.
- 2
Send the listening script
Copy the finished text into a new SimpleListen episode. If your AI client supports custom MCP connections, connect https://simplelisten.com/mcp and authorize your account to submit scripts through tools.
- 3
Listen through your podcast feed
Choose a feed and voice. When narration is complete, listen in the web player or refresh your subscribed feed in a compatible podcast app.
A prompt for a full listening script
Try: Rewrite this answer for spoken narration. Preserve its details, qualifications and original language. Turn headings and bullet points into clear spoken transitions. Describe relevant tables and spell out abbreviations when needed. Do not summarize unless I ask.
Review the script before submitting it, especially if it contains financial figures, medical information or technical instructions. Narration preserves the supplied content; it does not make an answer accurate or replace its source citations.
Use a compatible agent connection when available
SimpleListen has an authenticated MCP server, a CLI and an API for submitting scripts and managing feeds. A voice-preview interface can appear inside AI clients that support MCP Apps. Tool and embedded-interface support depend on the host and account configuration.
The current SimpleListen ChatGPT plugin is private. Do not assume it is publicly available in every ChatGPT account or on every device. Copying a prepared script into the website works without a plugin. Custom connector availability is controlled by the AI client.
Let an agent prepare forwarded reading
In compatible clients, an authorized MCP Events subscription can ask your agent to prepare an incoming article or email for voice. Set up the subscription before choosing agent preparation for a feed.
An episode routed to an agent waits until the script returns or you cancel it. There is no timed switch to automatic narration. If you want immediate cleaned narration instead, use the feed’s cleaned-text mode.

Questions about chatgpt to podcast
Does SimpleListen answer ChatGPT prompts itself?
No. Your agent researches and answers the question, then supplies the finished script. SimpleListen generates narration and maintains the podcast feed.
Do I need a ChatGPT plugin?
No. You can copy a script into SimpleListen. Direct tool submission needs a compatible MCP client and account authorization; the current ChatGPT plugin is private.
Will the agent summarize my source automatically?
The intended default is full content adapted for listening. Ask explicitly for a summary if you want one. Review your agent’s script before narration when fidelity matters.
