Terms of Service
A few straightforward rules for turning your reading into your own podcast.

Using SimpleListen
SimpleListen is operated by Vladimir Haltakov. By using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and use the service in accordance with applicable law.
SimpleListen turns text, articles, supported emails and agent-prepared scripts into AI-narrated audio delivered through unlisted podcast feeds. It can also be used through the website, API, CLI and compatible AI clients. Features and supported formats may change as the prototype develops.
Your account and connections
Provide an email address you control and keep your sign-in codes, personal API keys and feed links secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and connected agents. Contact us if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access.
Connected agents act within the access you authorize. Check their instructions and destinations before asking them to publish content. If you choose agent preparation, a submission may remain waiting until your agent completes it or you cancel it.
Your content and permissions
You keep the rights you have in your submitted content. You give us permission to process, store, convert and deliver that content, generated narration and artwork as needed to provide the service. This permission does not transfer ownership of your source material to us.
Only submit material you own, are permitted to use, or may lawfully process for this purpose. Respect copyright, confidentiality and other people’s privacy. Creating an unlisted feed does not grant permission to redistribute an article, email or other work. Do not submit passwords, API keys or content you are not authorized to share with the service and its providers.
AI narration and private listening
Audio is generated by AI, not a human narrator. Pronunciation, language detection and spoken adaptations may contain mistakes. Review important material and do not rely on narration as professional advice or as a guaranteed accurate copy of its source.
Feeds are unlisted, but anyone with a feed or audio link can listen. Keep links private. Podcast players and AI clients are separate services with their own terms, and may store copies that we cannot remove. We do not guarantee compatibility or immediate feed refreshes in every player.
Acceptable use
Do not use SimpleListen for unlawful activity, harassment, fraud, infringing content or misleading impersonation. Do not bypass access controls, probe other users’ feeds, interfere with the service or evade usage limits. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users or comply with law.
Prototype availability and charges
The current development prototype is provided without charge and may have generation, storage and usage limits. If paid features are introduced, their price and conditions will be shown before you choose to purchase them.
We aim to keep the service useful and available, but features may change, processing can fail and outages can occur. The prototype does not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage or a particular level of speech quality. Keep your own copy of important source material. If the service closes, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to export data where practicable.
Ending use and responsibility
You can stop using SimpleListen at any time, delete episodes and request account deletion by email. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and what happens to cached copies.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the prototype is provided as available, without warranties that it will meet every need. We are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized sharing of your links, third-party services or reliance on inaccurate AI output, except where the law makes us responsible. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer or privacy rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version and date will be available here, and we will notify you of material changes where required. Questions, support requests and rights concerns can be sent to [email protected].
